I am a San Diego based commercial, wedding and portrait photographer. I enjoy spending time looking for and finding the images that help convey the most compelling and meaningful emotions....those special moments that matter....

I find great joy in discovering those things that are just below the surface, revealing how special a person you really are....everyone has it, you know...the small details....the special smile....the way the light hits her face and hair, in only the way that it can.....the sweet look of your child that expresses a feeling that only you really understand. I want to tell your story....one that can be told to your children....and their children. I want to help you create the real memories. Life moves way too fast....we need an important and beautiful record of it. It would be an honor to create this for you and yours.

I also find purpose in shining the light where I believe it should be shown.....showing those hearts, the love, and even the pain that exists in this world. There is a solution I believe, and it is a joy to look for them in the shadows...

~ Brooke & Dean ~ E-Session…

Hello Everyone – Allow me to introduce Brooke & Dean…..a wonderful and beautiful couple from Corona Del Mar. We had a great evening around one of the most beautiful private beaches this evening. ~ Brooke & Dean ~ Sneak Peek….

Allow me to introduce this awesome couple from Corona Del Mar…..Brooke and Dean are really cool people and are a total blast to shoot. They are getting married next month in Rancho Santa Fe, so we had an Engagement Session with them last night to start off the festivities! I’ll be posting the rest of this awesome shoot later. I cant wait…..we did some awesome one light, off camera stuff on a private beach that will blow your mind!

(For you photogs out there....shot this with my Canon 5D Mark II......Canon 70-200 f/2.8 II IS lens.....165mm (25 feet away) ......f/2.8.....1/320th of a second......200 ISO......threw a little Pioneer Woman Soft & Ethereal Action at 15%..... TRA Pro Retouch at 30%.....some TRA Yin & Yang....and a little magic on the sharpening.....2 minutes....)

~ Lori & Kelly’s Wedding ~

Oh, what an amazing day it was…..beautiful blue skies…..gorgeous Rancho Valencia Spa in Rancho Sante Fe…..unbelievably beautiful bride and a groom that looked like he walked off the cover of GQ magazine. I was spoiled rotten as a photographer, with such amazing opportunities to capture such amazing images (it was so hard to pick the ones I wanted to show you….there are hundreds of other incredible images that are just as special).

Lori and Kelly, it was an honor and a real blessing to shoot your wedding. It was so special to see that tear fall down your face at the alter Lori….you are such a gorgeous bride, beauty beyond words. Kelly, you are a man’s man….was really cool to get to capture these special moments for two terrific people.
