San Diego Super Chargers…….

I guess I will never tire of rooting for my favorite team….the Chargers. Such a great experience going to the games as well. I grew up in Memphis, TN and never really had a professional sports team to root for…..admired Walter Peyton and Reggie White, but nothing like being in a city that has its own NFL team.

I moved here almost 8 years ago and swore the first day here that I would be the most stellar bandwagon fan the San Diego Chargers ever had known….I have been that ever since! (Why do I see Drew Brees and still root for him like he is still a Charger?)

Here are a few of the images I shot with one of my smaller lenses from the stands last Sunday. Was a great day to be there, since they were honoring the top 50 Charger players of all time. Amazing that 11 of the Top 50 players are on the current team.  Oh, and my Chargers crushed the Chiefs….

Jeff Brown - WONDERFUL WORK SIR THANKS FOR SHARING!! I HAVE BEEN A CHARGER FAN FOR OVER FORTY YEARS NOW. WHEN THEY TRAINED IN ESCONDIDO MY FRIENDS AND I WOULD DIVE IN THEIR DUMPSTER AND PULL OUT OLD RIPPED UP JERSEYS,TAPE ROLL ENDS,ETC. MY FIRST GAME ATTENDED WAS AGAINST THE BUFFALO BILLS WHO WE’RE OUTSCORED BY THE LIKES OF JOHN HADL,LANCE “BAMBI” ALWORTH, GARY “THE GHOST” GARRISON, KEITH LINCOLN, ERNIE LADD ET AL.. 45 TO 6 IT RUNS DEEPER THAN YOU KNOW. SO PLEASED YOU JUMPED ON THAT BANDWAGON WHAT A RIDE IT’S BEEN FOR YOU AND I HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE TO SEE ANY OF THE LEANER YEARS THAT SOME OF US ENDURED! THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING!
